On Monday, July 25, thirteen of our Impact Youth teenagers loaded up in the church van and went to Bethel Camp in Kentucky. Every summer for many years, our Chaos and Impact kids have been going to Bethel Camp. It is a great place to grow closer to Jesus, have fun, and meet a lot of great people.
We are so thankful for the volunteers that drive the bus and truck to get these kids up there and the ones that go back to get them at the end of the week. You are making a big investment into the next generation simply by serving in this way. Y'all rock!
This year, the campers had a different experience than ever before, as the flooding in Eastern Kentucky impacted the area where the camp is. All campers are safe and reportedly having a good time despite the flooding and lack of electricity and are expected to be able to come home on Saturday.
